Flex Time

Flextime is a system of working a specific number of hours with specific starting and ending times, the agreed work limits are set by employee. Flextime refers also to a flexible working time since the employee has the comfort of picking the working timing which works best for them. Flexible time has been described as one of the perks of remote work.

Companies, which embrace flex time culture allow employees to have a working schedule which does not affect their personal life. There are instances where flex-time might require employees to be in the office so that they can accommodate client meetings and collaborate with other remote colleagues.

Flexible time requires employees to work a given set of hours in a week or day. However, the starting and ending time of the work schedule is up to the employee to decide. Remote flex time works effectively when projects are highly individual and asynchronous communication is used. Flextime working can work both in-office and remote workers. There are some organizations which offer flex place. With flex place employees are allowed to choose where they work.
