Free-range Worker

This is a term, which involves freedom of time, location, and responsibility when it comes to employees. Free-range work combines both flexible time and a flexible workplace. Supervisors believe that workers can effectively work on their own and can effectively work with minimal supervision. Free-range work allows workers to collectively balance their personal and professional life.

Free-range workers have the flexibility to explore the world while still working at any location at any time. Free-range workers have the benefit of choosing a working environment, which suits their work and enhances productivity. This means work can be done from the office, business centers, homes, cafes, co-working spaces, or even a hotel. Apart from location free-range working offers additional freedoms to workers.

This eliminates layers of bureaucracy allowing smart people to make the smartest decisions. One can only categorize to be a free-range worker if they enjoy the freedom of time, location, and responsibility.
